My goal is to have blogs up on Tuesdays and Thursdays but I haven’t managed that this week. I have to apologize. I am preparing for a pretty big surgery in about a month and unfortunately I have been spending a lot of time in doctor offices getting all the necessary tests and so forth for that. It means I haven’t been at home much to write the last week nor will I be home to write most of next week. Unfortunately, I also have had a kidney stone that they want out prior to surgery in case I would get dehydrated, so I’ve been on a lovely medicine that has been making me very sick because it’s messing up my blood pressure to get it out. I promise to try to keep my schedule as much as possible, but please forgive me if I miss a day or post on an off day to make up for it. I will be taking a little vacation when surgery time comes, but I’ll keep you posted.
So I haven’t felt like writing this week while I’ve been stuck in bed and I had doctor appointments on Monday and Tuesday. But I did want to post this week. I’m afraid the best I have to offer is a Spotify playlist I put together. I’ve been listening to music to get over my own emotionally unavailable stint with a person. Some of these songs are sad, some are break up songs, some are happy, some may not seem to fit but they meant something to me, and of course there are songs to remind you that you are a worthwhile person who deserves the kind of relationship that is filled with love so you can pick yourself up and move on. There’s everything from Christian to Country to Pop on this playlist as well as some oldies and over 200 songs so if you don’t like one, you can skip right along.
